Byggja skal á starfi og reynslu félagsins, sem hóf reglulegar skákæfingar í Vin Dagsetur, í athvarfi Reykjavíkurborgar við Hverfisgötu 47 í Reykjavík.

Vinaskákfélagið hlúir að skáklífinu í Vin, jafnframt því að efna til viðburða í þágu fólks með geðraskanir, í samvinnu við athvörf, búsetukjarna, geðdeildir, félagasamtök og einstaklinga.

The purpose of the „Chess Club of Friends“ is to promote chess among people with mental disorders.

The work and experience of the club, which started regular chess training in Vin Dagsetur, should be built on in the Reykjavík City Shelter at Hverfisgata 47 in Reykjavík.

Chess club of friends nurtures the chess life in Vin, as well as organizing events for the benefit of people with mental disorders, in collaboration with shelters, residential centers, psychiatric wards, NGOs and individuals.
